School Governors
To all Parents, Guardians, Carers and Friends of children at Springwell School.
It is a pleasure for me as Chairperson of the Governing Body of Springwell School to welcome you to our school. Springwell School is a place where your son or daughter will be encouraged to learn for life and achieve their full potential.
Parents, Guardians, Carers and Friends are the hinge pin of the team approach and an open door policy encourages you to visit school at any time and play an active part in school life. On behalf of all Governors I would like to thank you for your involvement in the recent very successful OFSTED inspection.
There are also opportunities for the children to be involved after school. As well as a computer, cookery, art and sports club Springwell has many partners across the town including Families First and Oscars Playscheme. Governors are always open to suggestions for further activities.
Governors are also grateful to the many and varied donations from families and businesses across the town. We are looking forward to the new state of the art hydrotherapy pool which will shortly be built in the school.
Parents are also welcome to stand for election to the Governing Body which shapes the running of the school for more details please contact Mr Karl Telfer, the Headteacher.
