Fundraising for Macmillan

Part of our PHSE this year was to organise a fundraising event in school for a charity of our choice. As a class we chose to arrange a non uniform/ fancy dress fun run and donate the money to Macmillan. We made a total of £461.05.

Science Experiments

With the help of adults Shark class enjoyed science experiments. They used baking soda, sugar, sand and lighter fluid ( that is the bit the adults helped with) and the children named the experiment Devils Horns.

Pi Day 2017

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (Pi). Pi Day is observed on March 24th.

In Shark Class we had a fun filled day and enjoyed lots of activities related to Pi.

Eden Camp Trip

We have been learning all about World War 2 in History and so we decided it would be good to go and have a look at Eden Camp especially as we found out that is was once an original World War 2 prisoner of war camp. Even the chilly weather could not stop us from having a great day.
