Today in History, we visited the museum and explored old inventions that you would keep in our house. It was lots of fun!
Today in Music we listened to some different types of African music and dancing. We all joined in as a class to try to learn some African words and different dance moves. Then we made a rainmaker using different patterns to make them unique and put beads and rice into our instruments to make it sound like rain.
Over the last week, Panda Class have been able to follow instructions with two elements to be able to make our jam sandwiches independently. First we made a list of what we would need to make our sandwich, then we went to the shops to buy our ingredients, then later that day we made our sandwiches using our knowledge of what goes into our sandwich, then ate them!
Today in Maths, the class learnt about empty and full. We used water to demonstrate this. First we watched as a class to figure out what we needed to do, then went off independently and used different objects to measure whether the object was full or empty with water.
Today in Science we all experimented with sinking and floating. We took turns, each dropping different objects into the water, then guessed if it would sink or float.
Today, in Maths, we used our number line to figure out one less and one more of a number 1-10. Each child had a turn to try to find one less of a given number.
