We had a neon/uv party in the sensory room where we explored a range of bright neon colours in a contrasting dark room. We listened to some upbeat music while we explored the different colours and textures of objects.
Our current sensory story focus is 'Kipper's Sunny Day' and we have loved listening to the story and exploring the resources using all our senses.
With Summer now here, we are enjoying being able to spend more time outside in the fresh air during lessons.
We have been exploring musical instruments and noticing the effect our actions have when we move / touch the different instruments. We enjoyed listening to the sounds made.
We have been continuing to work on our communication targets during weekly hydrotherapy sessions throughout the Summer term.
We enjoyed having our family share our class assembly all about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We told the story together and took part in some lovely sensory activities.
To begin the Summer Term and our new topic of 'Home and Away', we have begun to explore our new story of 'Goldilocks and the three bears'.
We enjoyed exploring the feel of the soft materials and dressing up as little bears during our storytime.
