Friday 21st May 2026 

In Maths today, we have been learning more about 'months of the year'. We discussed the order of the months, as well as 'what comes before...' and 'what comes after...'. We then played a game of 'Months of the Year Snap'.

Thursday 14th May 2026 

In PE today, we have been learning about rolling and stopping a ball. We worked in pairs to roll and stop a ball. We then played a game called 'Clean the Garden' where we were in teams and had to roll the balls to the other team's side. This was really fun!

In Maths today, we played an 'O'Clock Matching Game'. The children were fantastic at matching the clocks and the written times. Great work, Sharks!!!

In Literacy today, we had lots of fun playing a 'Hansel and Gretel' board game. This is the book we have been reading this week.

Friday 8th May 2026 

In Art today, we had a mini-experiment, looking at different ways we could stick various recycled materials together, in preparation for when we make our musical instruments.

Thursday 7th May 2026 

Today we made some wonderful Gingerbread Houses, to link with our story 'Hansel and Gretel'. They look and taste fantastic!

Friday 1st May 2026 

In Art today, we discussed what a musical instrument is, and names lots of instruments. We then talked about what 'junk' is. Looking at different recycled materials, we gave lots of ideas for making instruments. We have some very imaginative/creative children in Shark Class. Great work!
