Dragon class is a class of seven children with a variety of severe learning difficulties, alongside associated speech and language difficulties. We are a busy, happy class located in the huts at the back of the school. To help support the children there is 1 teacher and 3 teaching assistants. Throughout the week we undertake activities such as bus trips, rebound, visiting the light and sound room, swimming and soft play, alongside traditional subjects such as literacy (with an emphasis on communication), maths, ICT, science, art, history, and so on. The lessons are structured to allow directed 1-1 work with the children, alongside more independent exploration of the resources and environment. If you want to contact Sam, the teacher, please feel free to ring, visit, or e-mail the school office at any time! I hope you enjoy our pictures!
