Good morning Dragons,

 

I hope you all really enjoyed World Book Day yesterday! Please send me some photos of your child taking part in the activities.

 

Here are today's lessons and activities:

 

Lexia: Please try to access Lexia for 20-30 minutes a day as this will help with your child’s phonics and reading comprehension.

 

Daily Mile (15 minutes): Choose your favourite sport and practice a range of different exercises associated with that sport – be creative and have fun with your exercises! Get your family involved. Please send me some photos!

 

PE:

Our new PE topic is Basketball.

Test your shooting skills by attempting the activities in from the below video:

Feel free to replace the Basketball with a different ball and tweak the activities to ensure you can have a go in the house or even the garden (if we are lucky enough to get some dry weather!).

Answer and discuss the following questions:

Can you name different types of exercise?

How does exercise make you feel?

What are the benefits to exercise?

Make a list of your answers.
