17.12.24- Fantastic fun at Imagination Village today for our Christmas treat and hardwork this term!

11.12.24- Our 'stay and play' Christmas themed assembly enjoying lots of activities including Christnmas food tasting, Santa crafts, sensory snow exploration and singing/dancing.

9.12.24- Music- Having fun with the parachute and snowballs!

6.12.24- Communication & Language- Identifying initial sounds this week!

6.12.24- Tuff tray exploration - Can you decorate the snowflake?

5.12.24 -Communication, language and literacy- We enjoyed exploring the props in our new story 'Father Christmas needs a wee'

4.12.24 Maths - Exploring big and small with the Christmas baubles!

3.12.24- Visiting the Christmas decorations in town!

2.12.24- Christmas has arrived in Llama class!

18.11.24- Music- Llamas enjoyed choosing their own musical instrument and songs to sing along to with Tees Valley Music service.They loved exploring under the parachute whilst listening and joining in with 'Twinkle Twinkle Star'.

15.11.24- Understanding the world / PSED- We had fun exploring Autumn leaves and animals with the interactive mat and wall displays. We worked on our PSED individual targets and participated in turn taking games, shared and played on the same equipment/toys.

14.11.24- PSED- Some of Llama children engaging in wider interactions with peers and sharing the equipment at Bishop Cuthbert park!

12.11.24- Understanding the world- Autumn sensory walk in Ward Jackson park. The children enjoyed exploring and finding different coloured leaves and Autumnal items in the outdoors.

8.11.24- Understanding the World- Remembrance Day- Llamas looked at poppies and then printed using sponges and stuck black buttons on to represent their own poppies.

7.11.24- Understanding the world- Forest school activities- Llamas teamed up with Toucan class and visited Throston School's forest school. We enjoyed independently exploring in the different areas and toasting marshmallows in the firepit.

6.11.24- Understanding the world (computing) - Llamas enjoy exploring a range of technology used across school. They loved playing with cause and effect toys and pressing switches / screens o achieve desired sounds and actions.

5.11.24- Llamas 'Share a story' session. We loved having parents/carers and family members in today to share and listen to a bonfire themed story. We explored the different sensory elements and props before making firework paintings and edible sparklers!

24.10.24 - Halloween 2024- We loved dressing up, trick or treating around school and exploring pumpkins and orange jelly in messy play.

24.10.24- Halloween crafts- We created leaf ghosts and hanging ghosts using cotton wool balls.

22.10.24- Communication, Language & Literacy- Today we had a special visitor in class- Liz Million, a children's illustrator! We had fun learning how to draw different characters from our story!

21.10.24- Cookery- Halloween cupcakes. We enjoyed exploring all of the different ingredients in turn before decorating them with halloween icing!

21.10.24- Understanding the world- Exploring and picking our pumpkins to carve!

18.10.24- Llamas created their own clowns from the story 'Spot Goes to the Circus'

14.10.24- Look at our fantastic edible circus!

10.10.24- Making lions from our circus story! We ripped tissue paper into strips for the lions mane and added eyes, nose and whiskers!

7.10.24- Cookery- We made clown biscuits and chose our own toppings to decorate clown faces.

4.10.24 - Today is World SMILE Day and the children in Llama Class wanted to show you all their lovely smiles 😀

4.10.24 - Today we performed circus games linked to our story ‘Spot Goes to the Circus’. The children had great fun playing with hoops, skittles, balls and beanbags, some of the circus animals also joined in.

2.10.24- Maths- Today we enjoyed taking turns exploring and sorting pegs by colour.

30.9.24- Our circus themed story this week is 'Spot Goes to the Circus'.

24.9.24- Understanding the World- Today we visited Seaton arcades to use money like in our story 'Just like Jasper'. We had fun changing coins and collecting tickets to buy items at the end.

23.9.24- Art- Today we painted our hands black and made hand prints for the cats body. We then added eyes, whiskers and a nose using different materials.

19.9.24- Writing- Fine motor control activities!

18.9.24- Expressive Arts and Design- Today we made 'Jasper' from our story using paper plates. We enjoyed sticking his face parts on (eyes, nose, whiskers and paws)

16.9.24- Expressive Arts & Design- Cookery- Linked to our story 'Just Like Jasper' we visited the shops to buy ingredients to make cat shaped pizzas. We chose our favourite toppings and made some pizza dough before adding them! We loved trying our pizzas!

12.9.24- PSED- This afternoon Llamas enjoyed a walk to the park and practised our turn taking skills.

9.9.24- DT- Cookery! We all practised our turn taking skills and mixed the ingredients to make cakes.

6.9.24- We all loved our first week back in our new class exploring mathematical activities.
