Welcome to Caiman class! 

Caiman class follows the Sparkle Curriculum. We are part of South America team. Each child has personalised targets which they are working towards through a range of play and sensory activities each day. We look forward to showing you some of the activities we will be doing over this term.

What fun we had this morning in our sensory assembly. 

We had so much fun in our maths sensory session this morning! 

What fun we have had this afternoon at our Christmas party!

What fun we have had at forest school! We toasted marshmallows, made some reindeer dust, found all of the reindeers bells, played in the mud and even got to meet Santa! 

We had so much fun at the wacky for our Christmas treat!

We have had so much fun today doing our Christmas activities. Lots of mess and lots of smiles!

First Christmas jumper day of the year!

We have loved our Christmas trip to ice skating, some of us where brave enough to put skates on! 

We loved PE on the trim trail today, it got very messy with the mud!

Today in our maths lesson we have been learning about empty and full, as always things got very messy!

We have loved this mornings story ‘ Just like Jasper’.

We had lovely little helpers this afternoon putting our Christmas decorations up!

We have loved our new sensory story today, Badger’s Band. 

We loved attention time today, singing rain rain go away.

To celebrate Remembrance Day, we painted the children's hands and they created their own picture of a 'Poppy' and made some red cupcakes to commemorate a special day! 

Today, in Maths, we had lots of fun taking turns picking our favourite Maths songs and then drawing numbers using different medias. The children had lots of fun!

Today, the children went on an 'Autumnal walk' and had so much fun meeting 'Horses' and exploring local Wildlife.

We have had so much fun at our bonfire, toasting marshmallows, eating hotdogs and chocolate fingers!

We had so much fun in our end of term sensory session! Have fun in the holidays and we will see you back in school on 4th November. 

Halloween cookies!
Today we have baked some Halloween cookies, we hope you loved them!

Bus trip.
We have had a lovely trip on the bus this morning. We took some of our harvest food to the food banks and then had a end of term treat at McDonald’s!

Pumpkin carving! 
Today we had a trip to the shops to buy pumpkins. We then came back to class and carved them out. It got very messy, we had so much fun!

We loved this week’s sensory session, learning about different animals habitats.

We loved our sensory story ‘5 Little Ghosts’.

We had a lovely trip to the art gallery and had a stop in the cafe!

We have loved exploring the sensory trays with our different senses. It got very messy, we had so much fun!

Cookery!
This morning we have had fun baking cakes and decorating them in circus themed for our story ‘Spot Goes to the Circus’. 

Foot spa!
we had so much fun having a hand and foot massage in our spa session! 

Museum!
Today we enjoyed a trip out to the museum too explore the history of Hartlepool! 

The wonderful award!
We are so pleased to award Jessie with the wonderful award for her amazing work and settling so well in her new class. We are so proud of her, well done!

Today we enjoyed using our new cooking resources and made cakes! Everyone took part and had a taste.

We have enjoyed working on our balance and playing with the new garden equipment.

We are so pleased to give star of the week to Keisha and Jessie for been so settled within their first week back to school, well done!

Archades! 

We had so much fun on our first class trip out. We went to the Archades and finished off with some sweets that we won!
