Silver Class

Welcome to Silver Class!

Our teacher is called Louise

and our teaching assistants are called Aimee, Amanda, Jo and Mel.

Here you will find information about what we are learning in class and the many exciting events that are coming up throughout the year. We will also use this page to share photographs and videos of your child's learning, interesting lessons, special activities or showing examples of your child's work. In addition to support your child's learning at home, we will share useful websites where we can all work together with your child and have fun.

Meet Silver Class

...and Silver Class Staff

Our Summer topic is 'The world and explorers'.  We enjoyed visiting the Historic Quay to find out about life at sea.

Shiver me timbers!

We found out about the life of Robinson Crusoe and enjoyed watching the Robinson Crusoe movie at the cinema.
In Spring term our topic was 'Stories' and we enjoyed working with the illustrator Liz Million.

We enjoyed dressing up as different characters from the story 'Baby Goz!' and role-playing the Three Little Pigs story!

We were illustrators for the day and enjoyed drawing characters from the story 'Little Red Riding Hood'

We visited Hardwick park in February 2016 and took part in the Gruffalo's trail as we had been researching Julia Donaldson books!

We visited 'Seven Stories' in Newcastle (March 2016) and took part in a 'Rhymes around the World' workshop. The children enjoyed looking at and singing different nursery rhymes from around the world in the gallery.

The children enjoyed dressing up as different characters from the nursery rhymes.
