Children had to design and draw an AI Robot on a piece of paper.
Each robot was named and labelled individually.
Shark Class had to think about different skills and jobs their robot could perform and talk about it in front of the class.
All of the children came up with some unique and amazing ideas!
Shark Class visited Hopetown in Darlington as a part of Celebrating 200 Years of the Stockton and Darlington Railway!
Children were engaged in historical, artistic and exploratory experiences to help bring they story of early transport to life.
It was a very educational and fun trip for all!
Shark Class took a trip to a Ward Jackson Park as a part of their Science Lesson.
Children spent their time walking around the park, trying to find and identify some of the wild and garden plants.
They worked in groups and enjoyed exploring and discussing all of the plants they came across!
At the end of the trip children spent some time enjoying themselves on the playground!
Children took part in a group task as a part of their English lesson and played a game called "Conscience Alley". Their discussions were based on the story called "The Tunnel" by Anthony Browne and children had to share their ideas as to why Rose (the main character) would or would not have to follow her brother into the tunnel and why!?
Children had to use their ideas to convince an adult as to why it may or may not be a good idea to follow her brother into the tunnel and what adventures may lay ahead of her if she did go in!
Children were learning fundamental cardinal directions (North, South, East and West) and their navigations.
They used compass directions to navigate a map.
Shark Class then took part in a practical task where they had to move around the grid using compass directions given them by their peers!
