Wednesday 22nd June 2016- Shabbat meal, as part of our RE work we have been learning about Shabbat. We found out that Jewish people celebrate Shabbat from Friday night to Saturday night. We made our own Shabbat meal with Challah bread and Chicken in a pot.
Tuesday 24th May 2016. We visited Stewarts Park in Middlesbrough and then went to Gisborough Hall for our lunch. We really enjoyed our day out.
Wednesday 11th May 2016. We have been learning about Australia. As part of our work we made some Anzac biscuits.
Monday 25th April 2016. As part of our ICT Work we have designed a zoo. We are going to use the mats for the Beebots to move round.
Wednesday 13th April 2016 Role Play in our Outside Area. Our Science topic is animals and our story is Dear Zoo.
Summer 2016
Our topic for the Summer Term is The World and Explorers. We are going to learning about our local explorer Captain Cook and all about Australia and some of its amazing animals.

After a very Busy Spring Term, Yellow Class are looking forward to the Easter Holidays.
We have learnt about the Three Little Pigs and how to build houses made of different materials. We also learnt about Little Red Riding Hood and that it is important not to talk to strangers.
We decided that wolves are nearly always bad in stories....
We also celebrated Burns' Night and Valentine's Day.
We are very pleased and excited about our outside area which has enhanced our learning and we can use it whatever the weather.

Welcome to Yellow Class. Our teacher is Janis and our teaching assistants are Allison, Joanne and Kelly.
Next term our topic will be Stories and we will be starting the term with some Traditional Tales: The Three Little Pigs and The Gingerbread Man. We will post some our work next term.

Tuesday 15th March 2016 Our Science topic is water. Our class experiment is to see if flowers change colour when they are in water and food colouring.
Tuesday 7th March 2016 Our first experiences of our outside area and it was snowing..... we thought it was nearly Spring.
Tuesday 7th March 2016 Our outside area is finished and set up ready for the arrival of Yellow Class. More Photographs to follow.
Monday 7th March 2016 After 2 weeks our outside area is nearly finished. We can't wait to use it.
Tuesday 1st March 2016 Our History Topic is Pirates. We made some Pirate Hats and beards and we all had our parrots.
We also sang some Pirate Songs.
Our Outside Area. Yellow Class is very excited as our outside area is having a make over. We can getting a cover so we can use the area all year round. Here is what happened last week, we can't wait to show you the finished area.
Thursday 4th February 2016 Visit by Nick the Chef. We made vegetable stir fry and learnt about China as it is Chinese New Year next week.
Tuesday 26th January 2016. Burns Night. Yellow Class made Haggis, neeps and tatties. Some of us liked it but some of us were not so sure!!
Tuesday 19th January 2016 Part of our story The Three Little Pigs.
We are reading the story of the Three Little Pigs. As part of our Science and Design Technology Work we are going to build some houses for the Little Pigs. First we had to design our houses.Here are our designs. We hope you like them.
At the start of the new term Yellow Class thought about their new resolutions. The children thought about what they would like to be better at.They wrote their resolutions on a star for our display board.
Our science this term is linked to our stories topic. We are looking at different materials in class before we build our houses for the Three Little Pigs.
