11.12.23 - Today Toucan class used tweezers and chopsticks to pick up pompoms, pipe cleaners and hoops to help improve our fine motor skills.
4.12.23 - Today in Maths Toucan class had fun making towers out of cubes! We all made some really tall towers and practiced the Makaton sign "to build" as we played.
27.11.23 - Toucan class created some Rangoli artwork to celebrate Diwali. They used lots of Indian spices and herbs to create the patterns and even tasted some! Yummy!
23.11.23 - In maths today Toucan class had lots of fun recognising and matching up shapes to create some pretty Rangoli patterns linking in with our work around the festival of Diwali.
15.11.23 - Today Mike the Music Man came into school and performed some songs with the children. The children enjoyed it and got involved by playing along to the music with different instruments.
6.11.23 - This week the children enjoyed taking part in a sensory bonfire and fireworks display alongside Jaguar class. Lots of fun!
24.10.23 - This week toucan class were very excited to get back on the trampoline after a few weeks without one. Everyone had a great time!
20.10.23 - This week in PHSE we have been doing teeth brushing. The children brushed fake teeth and cleaned dinosaur teeth! Scary!
12.10.23 - This week in DT the children created kites for the "old and new" topic and then played with some old toys! Great fun!
2.10.23 - This week in art the children created some digital artwork and made these brilliant drawings on the interactive whiteboard. Well done!
25.9.23 - This week in science the children all enjoyed using torches and lights to explore in the dark!
18.9.23 - This week in history the children got dressed up in historic costumes as part of our "Old and New" topic. They had lots of fun!
11.9.23 - In Maths this week the children enjoyed making patterns with the shapes!
5.9.23 - The children enjoyed making dinosaur footprints in the water!
