19.9.25 Wonderful Award: Evan was so happy to be awarded the Wonderful Award today. Evan always has the best positive attitude, he works so hard all of the time and he tries hard with his speech everyday! Well done Evan!

5.9.25 Rainbow Bear Award: Rainbow Bear is awarded to a pupil in Dragon Class for positive attitude, behaviour and effort in class. Lettie was awarded Rainbow Bear this week for settling into her new class with an excellent positive attitude. Well done Lettie!

W/B: 22.9.25 Maths: I can use big and small to talk about size. The children read a story 'Where's Teddy?' and used the language of big, small and little to talk about size in the story. The children worked with real life objects to sort out the picnic items for Big Teddy and Little Teddy. The children made a wrap sandwich to take on a picnic with Teddy.

26.9.25 Wonderful Award! Kerry is wonderful! Kerry has been working hard all week, sha has joined in with all the activities and has been kind to all her classmates. She has made some new friends and has been playing lots of new games with them outside. Well done Kerry!

W/B 29.09.25- PAT Dog Today Ronnie the PAT Dog came to visit us, everybody took turns to stroke him and then Val gave us Ronnie's brush to help brush his fur.

3.10.25 Rainbow Bear- This week Rainbow Bear was awarded to Lizzie! Well done Lizzie. Lizzie has been working hard in all her lessons and has joined in with all the activities.

W/B: 13.10.25 Geography: The children are working hard on improving our outside area. The children choose different bulbs to plant in the plant pots in preparation for Spring.

WB: 13.10.25 Cookery- As part of our preparation for Halloween, the children enjoyed making ghost biscuits. We enjoyed eating them too! 

W/B 20.10.25- This week the children have been learning about Diwali- The Festival of Light! We have learnt the meaning behind light over darkness. The children created their own Firework Glitter pictures, Diwali Lamps and in Cookery we made sparklers using breadsticks, chocolate and hundreds and thousands. We had so much fun smiley

Friday 14th November - We have taken part in 'Pudsey' themed activities for Children in Need. We have created Pudsey biscuits in cookery and we have completed an exercise challenge in class. We have even learned how to do a burpee! We have had lots of fun!

Cinema - 19.11.25 - Dragon Class went to the cinema to see Bad Guys 2. They all had such a good time!

17.12.25 Science- I can carry out a simple test and describe results. The children enjoyed watching the rainbow grow and were encouraged to talk about the colours and what was happening with the colours.

24.12.25 Science- I can carry out simple tests and describe results. As part of our Science topic on Rainbows the children made their own rainbow and watched it grow across the paper. The children were encouraged to describe what they can see and discuss what was happening to the colours.

Dragon Class have started to enjoy the festivities and have taken part in lots of Christmas arts and crafts. We have also enjoyed 'Winter Wonderland' which was a fantastic session with lots of Christmas sensory based activities.

8.12.25 Science- I can recognise a rainbow and some common colours, I can name a range of colours in the environment. The children have been learning about rainbows and how they are formed. The children have been exploring colours and naming colours. The children enjoyed a sensory activity making a rainbow with shaving foam. The children were encouraged to name the colours and identify the colours of the rainbow in order.

8.12.25 Maths- I can identify and name shapes with 4 sides. The children have had lots of fun exploring and sorting shapes based on number of sides and names of the shapes. The children have been naming squares, rectangles, triangles and circles.

8.12.25 Geography- I can improve my environment by making a wreath using natural materials, describe features and discuss preferences. The children enjoyed making a Christmas wreath using some natural materials as well as decorations for Christmas. The children were encouraged to talk about the colours and the textures of the different plants and materials they had chosen. We will use these wreaths for our Christmas table for Christmas lunch.

WC 8.12.25 - This week we have celebrated our friend's birthday! We enjoyed sharing birthday cake which was so yummy!

10.12.25 - Cookery - We have been exploring new ways to create Christmas themed foods. We have used different ingredients to create our own reindeer cakes using strawberries, chocolate, pretzels and cereals.
