9/9/2025 Science: Light and Sound Toys - We explored and investigated a range of toys that light up.
16/9/25 Science: Light and Sound - We explored and experienced a range of torches to create light and then experienced using material to change the colour of the light.
18/9/25 PE: Throwing and Catching - We explored and experienced a variety of different balls and practised throwing and catching.
19/925 Music: We explored a variety of instruments and then listened to instrumnets being played and then found the matching picture.
19/925 Art: Painting - We explored a range of different colours of paint and then used the paint to paint with our feet and and make footprint butterflies.
23/9/25 Geography: We went on a visit to Grayfields to look for and collect different colours of leaves. We looked for green, red, yellow and orange leaves.
24/9/25 Attention Time: As part of our daily Attention time session, we completed a stage 4 activity and independently made our own crowns.
29/9/25 Geography: We explored the leaves we collected last week from Grayfields and and we sorted them by colour.
1/10/25 RE: Rites of Passage - This week we have explore the Jewish celebration 'Bar Mitzvah'. As part of the lesson we explored and experienced making Falafel and Hummus.
2/10/25 Geography: We visited the Dutch Garden centre to explore plants and flowers and recognise different colours.
3/10/25 Music: We explored a range of musical instruments.
6/10/25 Attention Time Stage 4 - Andrew demonstrated how to make the flower craft, we then followed all instructions and made our own independently.
8/10/25 RE: Rites of Passage - This week we explored the Hindu Upanayana ceremony. As part of this we watched a video about the ceremony and then experienced shaving Andrew's head, just like on the video.
10/10/25 - Art: Chalk Rainbows - We explored rainbows by singing the rainbow song and looked at a large rainbow naming and signing the colours. We then went outside and created our own rainbows using chalk.
21/10/25 Halloween Activities
22/10/25 Attention Time - During a stage 4 activity, we watched Andrew create a rainbow picture, then we took our own boxes of resources to the table and independently create our own pictures.
23/10/25 Delivering to the Foodbank : We delivered a donation of food to the local foodbank. we also explored the library during the visit.

4/11/25 Handwashing - We had a visit from the community nurses who demonstrated how to wash our hands and we looked at our hands before and after under a UV light.
5/11/25 Bonfire Night - We explored and experienced Bonfire Night activities.
17/11/25 Tree Planting
18/11/25 Maths: Repeating Patterns - We explored and created repeating patterns by using fruit to make fruit kebabs.
19/11/25 Rossmere Forest School - some of our children visited Rossmere Forest school for the day.
23/11/25 RE: Diwali - We explored the festival of Diwali and created our own lamps from clay.
21/11/25 Art: Exploring Colour - We explored different colours of paint and used marbles in a tray to create different patterns.
1/12/25 Swimming: Each week we develop our swimming and communication skills during our Pecs in the Pool session.
