Welcome to Caiman class! 

Caiman class follows the Sparkle Curriculum. We are part of South America team. Each child has personalised targets which they are working towards through a range of play and sensory activities each day. We look forward to showing you some of the activities we will be doing over this term.

In our DT lesson, we looked at the features on our face and matched them onto the biscuits.

Following on from our trip to the beach, we collected stones and painted them!

The children had lots of fun at the Hedland, Rock Pooling. 

Today we have made fish finger sandwiches and ice cream for our new topic seashores in science. 

Number day!

This morning we have been to see the fishes at the pet shop and the pond. We also fed the ducks and had a quick play at the park!

We loved our valentines class assembly this morning!

The children are doing well with their daily routines. 

Today in PSHE, we learnt all about ourselves and each other. Linking to our well-being week.

We have loved the role play this morning!

Today we also made pizzas to represent the hot weather! All the children were amazing at trying the new foods, the pizzas went down a treat!

Following on from learning about extreme weathers, we have made snowball cakes.

For PSHE we have been learning about different environments. Today we looked at the different environments our favourite animals live in!

What fun we have had this afternoon at our Christmas party!

We had so much fun at forest school! We toasted marshmallows, made some reindeer dust, found all of the reindeers bells, played in the mud and even got to meet Santa!

We have had so much fun today doing our Christmas activities. Lots of mess and lots of smiles!

First Christmas jumper day of the year!

We have loved our Christmas trip to ice skating, some of us where brave enough to put skates on! 

We loved PSHE on the trim trail today, it got very messy with the mud!

To celebrate Remembrance Day, we painted the children's hands and they created their own picture of a 'Poppy' and made some red cupcakes to commemorate a special day! 

Today, in Maths, we had lots of fun taking turns picking our favourite Maths songs and then drawing numbers using different medias. The children had lots of fun!

Today, the children went on an 'Autumnal walk' and had so much fun meeting 'Horses' and exploring local Wildlife.

We had so much fun in our end of term sensory session! Have fun in the holidays and we will see you back in school on 4th November.

Today we have baked some Halloween cookies, we hope you loved them!

Bus trip.
We have had a lovely trip on the bus this morning. We took some of our harvest food to the food banks and then had a end of term treat at McDonald’s!

Pumpkin carving! 
Today we had a trip to the shops to buy pumpkins. We then came back to class and carved them out. It got very messy, we had so much fun!

This morning we have had fun baking cakes and decorating them in circus themed for our story ‘Spot Goes to the Circus’.

Today we enjoyed a trip out to the museum too explore the history of Hartlepool!

We are so pleased to award Jessie with the wonderful award for her amazing work and settling so well in her new class. We are so proud of her, well done!

We are so pleased to give star of the week to Keisha and Jessie for been so settled within their first week back to school, well done!

Archades! 

We had so much fun on our first class trip out. We went to the Archades and finished off with some sweets that we won!
