W/b: 5.1.26 We had a lovely snow day when we returned to school after Christmas! We loved playing in the snow and making snowmen.
W/b: 5.1.26 Maths: I can recognise and count 0 to 5. The children enjoyed playing skittles during a maths session working out how many skittles they had knocked down and how many were left standing. Well done everyone!
w/b: 12.1.26 I can explore instruments/ I can listen to instructions. The children loved their music session with Becky and Natalie . The children explored the instruments and were able to follow the instructions carefully.
w/b: 12.1.26 I can find 0-5. The children have been learning how to represent 0-5 using the correct amount of objects. The children enjoyed using the different objects to count out the different amounts.
W.B. 12/01/26 In our PSHE lesson this week we shared ideas of when we might feel proud. We used props to help us demonstrate this feeling and some of us shared our experiences.
W/B 12.01.26 - In our Literacy lesson we have created role play scenarios of us going to the moon in a rocket, just like Baby Bear from our class book - Whatever Next. We created a space ship for Baby Bear and watched him ZOOM to the moon.
W.B 19.01.26 - In our Art lesson this week we have been learning about a new technique - weaving! We used ribbons to go 'under' and 'over'.
W.B. 26.01.26 - In PSHE we have been creating some friendship bracelets and have given them to a friend.
W.B. 26.01.26 - In Maths we have been exploring capacity and had some fun with water to investigate.
W.B. 26.01.26 - Cookery - We have been making cakes and decorated them with a stars and different coloured icing to create a solar system of cupcakes. We also made healthier snacks - Rocket themed fruit kebabs - which we enjoyed while we waited for the cakes to bake! They were so yummy....
W.B. 26.01.26 - Happy Birthday - We celebrated our friend Kerry's birthday and shared some birthday cake which was delicious.
