In literacy we have been developing on our love of reading skills by talking about the story and the characters in the story, what might happen in the story and things we like about the story.
In Music, we are learning the action rhyme "There's a worm at the bottom of the garden called Wiggly Woo". We are learning the song and some of the signs. After we have learnt the songs we are going to change the movements.
We made our own windmills.
Our story is called Underpants Thunderpants!
In Science we made bird feeders.
In Maths we have been working on positional language and had great fun exploring in, on and under our play equipment outside.
Our new story is called Compost Stew.
In Geography we have learned about the weather and we picked our favourite weather and gave a weather report.
For Number Day, we played a game where we rolled the dice and then followed the instructions depending on the number we rolled. We waited our turn to roll the dice and then do the actions. It took us a long time to roll a six.
Our RE topic this term is Ramadan which begins on the 28th February. This week we learnt about how Muslims celebrate Ramadan. We learnt that Muslims cover their heads in the Mosque so we covered our heads in class.
Our story this week is Bringing Rain to the Kapati Plain
In Maths this week we have been learning about money. We used 1p coins to buy our snack this week. The fruit was 1p, biscuits were 2p and some crisps were 3p.
We hope that you had a good break over half term.
The days are getting longer and hopefully Spring is on the way.
Our current story is The girl, the bear and the magic shoes.

In music, this half term we have been listening to French Songs. Panda Class worked with Sarah from Tees Valley Music and we clapped along to the songs and played some instruments too.
Panda Class really enjoyed exploring the different activities for Science Week.
